A Flame For You

Burn a candle to send a prayer for a loved one who passed on... for one dollah. That's what I was told, at least.

My mom mentioned this photo, which I've always remembered as being extremely noisy and icky (because of the noise). Then I realized that I knew how to fix it now, without being destructive or removing detail. So I did. And now it's a picture that I like. I was also able to practice sharpening in a way that's even less destructive than the method described in my tutorial. Really simple: burn and dodge to add contrast along the sharp edges. Don't know why I didn't think about it until about a week ago . But it's only helpful for a few spots, where you don't want to sharpen, but you had to do too much noise reduction due to a large amount of noise.
